Halloween is close! And that means some fun dress ups! Do you have your costumes ready?! Well in case you don’t, I whipped up this diy felt ladybug headband super fast! A great last minute idea! I love that Anabelle humors me and all my hair pieces, but they are such an easy craft and she looks completely adorable in them!
Plus, not even kidding, she likes to wear them randomly, so we have a little dress up box with all sorts of costumes, headbands masks and any other accessories that could even go with her everyday outfits!
DIY Felt Ladybug Headband:
1. Cut out the template, trace them onto the felt.
You will need to trace the semi circle twice for the wings, and I used an already polka dotted version which was perfect for the ladybug! Trace the other two shapes from black felt.
2. Glue the pieces together.
The wings should be glued on top of the black felt.
3. Mark where to glue.
Place the headband on your head and spread the ladybug over the headband. Remove from your head and mark where the headband was place on the felt. Also mark on the actual headband how far the ladybug reached from side to side.
4. Glue the ladybug on the headband!
And finally, don’t forget to find some red and black clothes for an adorable ensemble and completion to your new DIY felt ladybug headband!
