When I came up with the idea of a balloon backdrop, I intended for it to be a fun place to take photos and capture the spirit of the joint birthday party. If nobody else wanted to take party pictures, I knew I would at least get good use out of it.
When it came time to plan Anabelle and Betty’s birthday party, I decided that instead of having a fancy theme of my choosing (I was thinking tea party almost the entire year leading up to this party!), I wanted to go a more traditional route. I wanted to fill the party with things that I thought Anabelle would love, like pom-poms, party hats, sprinkles, balloons, and lots of colors! It was going to be a child’s dream come true!
Fourth of July is around the corner and this flag is the perfect decor or photo backdrop for your holiday party! I’m not into seewing, so I didn’t have the scrap fabric around, but it still was a suuuuper easy and super quick project! Like it took me only 20 minutes to cut and tie all the red and white stripes. And I just love the way it turned out!
Halloween is close! And that means some fun dress ups! Do you have your costumes ready?! Well in case you don’t, I whipped up this diy felt ladybug headband super fast! A great last minute idea! I love that Anabelle humors me and all my hair pieces, but they are such an easy craft and she looks completely adorable in them!
Plus, not even kidding, she likes to wear them randomly, so we have a little dress up box with all sorts of costumes, headbands masks and any other accessories that could even go with her everyday outfits!
