Where were these Animal onsies last year?! They would have been perfect to dress up as zoo animals with Anabelle and Betty! So, when I spotted them in adult sizes this year, I wanted to take last year’s animals to a whole new level! And what better than to use my favorite 90’s toy, to create a beanie baby costume! It’s the perfect, easy, family Halloween costume with almost no preparation!

It took me a little while to create the template since I originally planned to hand paint the tags for the beanie baby costume… But that took way too long… Instead I made a template that I printed and cut out four times! And now you have it even easier and can download yours below four your beanie baby costume!
Beanie Baby Costume:
1. Print the tags on card stock paper.
2. Cut them out and add a string
3. Wear them around your neck as a necklace.

We tried to make this a family ordeal, but after two failed photoshoots and a frustrated family, we gave up…. Seriously, they were the worst family photos ever! I lucked out when on a whim, I gave it one more try the way we usually do (with our controller game I shared here) and came out with these photos! But if you want to see our family photo and Kevin dressed up as an elephant, scroll to the bottom and click the Pinterest button 😉
