Since we were supposed to be working on our new house last weekend, Kevin’s parents were going to come into town and help us paint and complete a few random tasks. Of course when Kevin’s Dad asked about cookies, I jumped to the chance to try out one of the many recipes sitting in my Pinterest boards! I decided to try these sugar cookies and boy were they delicious!!! (In the end, we didn’t end up doing anything with the house, but I won’t bore you with those problem-full details here.)
These cookies were really called French Toast Sugar Cookies, but I swear they taste way too much like the Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop Tarts! Next time I make them I need to figure out how to put a layer of brown sugar in the middle and they will only then be absolutely perfect!
