Let me tell you a little bit about my weekend.
Friday night: I told Kevin that I was going to be productive Saturday morning. Wake up, walk to the coffee shop, get a latte, write some emails, play on the new Pilates scheduling program, write a Pilates blog post, etc., etc., etc…. Miscellaneous chores.
Saturday morning: Woke up late, laid in bed, cozied up on a pillow on the floor with a cup of coffee from my husband, wrote my emails and then…….. Did almost nothing else! Ok well I played on Pinterest and got lots of interior decorating ideas! And I put together a blog post about it! But other than that… Nothing! Kevin got the day that he always wants and that I never let him have: a pj day on the couch. He was so thrilled by the end of the day, when yet again we had to come up with another meal when we had absolutely no food in the kitchen since I never made it to the grocery. Pizza it was!
Sunday: I don’t think it’s acceptable to roll out of bed and go to church in your pj’s with your air-dried, frizzy hair. Soooo I kind of had to get dressed. And then, why not go out for a delicious Sunday brunch?! Mmmm! And then, I finally finished Saturday morning’s list! Who knew I was going to complete that whole thing and get to have an epic lazy day?!
Oh and when you spend too long with your hair and makeup, leaving yourself negative 2 minutes to get dressed for church, light jean on dark jean with moccasins is probably the best way to go! In fact, any button down and skinny jeans is the quickest, most versatile way to go! Especially if it’s the day after wearing pj’s all day
How was your weekend?! Because I categorize mine as unexpectedly awesome!
